Oakland is his Life, his baby & only he runs the ship. Look what Mr. Davis has done with football....his achievements blow me away....now on the other side of it al...
I think Al should have some aid in the front office, or by his side. I truly believe he is still livin' in the Stabler & Bilitnekoff era. size & speed & hit em on the first play & dont look back. It worked for him in the earlier years of thaaa raaaidders however football has changed a lot since then.
But look what he has done to this once feared raiders organization, losing season ever since the "chucky" bowl. a part of me thinks he should step down & allow his son to run the ship but i see the pieces Mr. Davis has been putting into place.
A good strong QB (size of a linebacker but hey) . 3 very strong good rb's & a solid TE who can help take the pressure off of JR. Our O line has improved & we finally have some leadership in the locker room ie; Greg Ellis & J.R has been taking some roles as well.
Critics can knock Davis for his history in the draft's but hey Look at Nnamdi everyone shook their heads when we took him, they where sayin he was a 3rd rounder at BEST...now look whose laughing. Best shutdown corner in the game. what did he get 20 passes thrown his way last year...Michael Bush, Zack Miller, rundmc the pieces are falling into place...just gotta be patient so all in all Al's been there before he will take us again....
