Not for me of course, but for my wife and kids (4). I actually enjoy buying the coolest newest funkiest bags of the season. I don't see anything super-cool yet... we like ones with monsters/characters or just funky stuff on them.
Do you have any favorites? My daughters are wearing the backpacks that look like a little girl from 2 seasons ago, I think.
My husband is Dutch, and I've made the pilgrimages to the "main" store on one of Amsterdam's priciest streets, PC Hooftstraat, and to the OUTLET in Alkmaar. The "outlet" is nothing like the huge American outlet stores; it is in a mall-like building in a space much larger than a typical Dutch winkel (store).
If you like the bags, REALLY like them, go to Alkmaar (yes, I know it costs a lot to travel and the dollar is weak against the Euro but).... they have an excellent selection of bags, less so on the clothes.
