Spyders are good guns. You might also think about an A5 with an e-grip. Those are fast and then you don't have to buy a separate motorized loader. If you want all out speed I'd recommend the Ion or the Rail. Do you play mostly woodsball or speedball?
You'll like the Spyders then. They're fast, have a lot of good features and are pretty easy to take care of. The Rail and Ion are a little more maintenance intensive but are easy to service once you work on them a few times.
you should get a spyder vs2 since the rocker frame is illegal in tournaments.. they run 130 up and youlld need a nitro tank but the gun is capapble of 25 bps w te infinity trigger.. and they have eyes only the elctra w rocker has eyes in it.. plus the tadoa boards prices just dropped to 40 dollars and the virtue board i heard just dropped to 70.. just a though..
aghh don't get a spyder! for like $300 you could do soo much better! I had a spyder vs3 as my first gun and they're not bad guns at all especially for the price, but proto has gotten sooo much cheaper! I saw a listing for a proto PMR (which i have and is AMAZING for the price) with a Dye DM frame for a little over $300 and that thing will rip almost as fast as any other gun on the market. Now I'm using an angel one which are getting a lot cheaper used (like $400-$500). If you want a speedball gun I would defiantly go with a proto. hope i helped!
Dont buy a spyder if u want to play speed ball u will most likely regret waisting that money and ion is ok if u up it but my advise take your time and buy a etek ego or a proto or get your self a used DM. I only say dont buy a spider or a ion because i have a vs2 spider and a ion and there ok but a etek ego is about 100 times better u can also hang around paint ball forums and u will learn quick =P
and by the way if u buy the etek ego u wont need any upgrades because that thing alone is a monster =P i love mine to death =D
awww come on man don't diss me etek it is a real ego made by egos all the same =P and it has kicked its older brother ass many times. but yea a ego 07 is sweet if u can get one i say go for it its a gun that u will be happy with i name my etek Trixy xD
