Just some hints from a long time player, owner of waaaay too much gear.

paintball scams- "long range sniper gun!" nope, markers must all shoot the same speed when playing legally, speed = range. The only exceptions are the back-spin barrels, these let you shoot "flatter", like Apex & Flatline. These DO work, but dont actually shoot farther than a standard barrel, if it is angled back. But they do allow shots under low hanging trees, etc. Unfortunately, they sacrafice ball speed & accuracy for that flat trajectory.
Extra long barrels, same deal... just waste air. The best barrels are ported 2-stage, between 12" & 16" for accuracy, efficiency & quietness.

Good luck!
