I've had my E2 for a few years and really like it. For me it is the next best thing to a laptop when it comes to schoolwork and organizing life. However, somewhere, somehow suddenly I can't bring up any documents. It says "Application missing". Don't know where it went but I would love to get it back.
I thought I would just reinstall everything with my installation CD's but of course, those seemed to have gotten lost in the move. I've tried to go to the Palm website for help, but that just seemed to boggle my pea-brain further. Can anyone give me info in layman's terms as to what I can do here? Thanks so much for any help.
When you purchased the E2 one of the steps you likely have taken was the registration of your software. A note to Palm support might allow you to retrieve the registration number - which then discloses the software suite you originally installed, and possibly - a source to download and re-install an archive of your lost application.
If you have multiple SD cards, it was possible you had originally installed to one of them. When you removed the SD card, the application went with it.
It is unlikely you would accidentally delete the app...
As such - if you have multiple SD cards- try inserting - and then reading - each card to see if the application is still (hiding) on there.
