Hi There, There are several different types of tools to use. You can go the EVP and EMF route, or you can go the old school way also (wiccan, pagan, etc...). Such tools include dowsing rods, chrystals, and just pure instinct. Do you have a probem or are just starting to venture into the other plane. There are several different types of meters to purchase. You will have to look and read to see what matches your needs. Look here on ebay, there is tons of equipment for inexpensive prices to get you started. Look at the late auctions and you will find better deals. There is also a huge selection of books to help you get started. Great answer Lisa. EMF dosen't realy do anything for me. some of those meeters could be faked.
One thing be careful when you are starting. you need to protect yourself. things can attach to you. a regular haunting you don't need to worry
I like to use cameras and set thm up in rooms by themselfs and no one walking around. thats the best way, Don't follow Ghost Hunters. thye are stupit but they have some nice stuff. Look on Eslay and find some good things.. just remember to clean them and put your own enegry into the stuff you buy. good luck and don't let them scare you.
I love watching Ghost Hunters! I've learned alot about ghosts and how to do evp and emf readings. I bought my equipment on ebay. I just got it and haven't really had the chance to use it much. I would love to go on a real ghost hunt! :-)
To get the basics, you should have an EMF meter, a camera, & a digital recorder. An EMF meter will alert you to unusual spikes which can indicate paranormal activity, or can detect leaking EMF fields around bad wiring or outlets (which can cause tons of symptoms mistaken for paranormal events). Cell Sensors are basically idiot-proof & cheap, perfect for me! Don't fall for the KII hype you see on tv, you have to slide a dime over the button to prevent false positives.
