Hello! I have always been a non religious person up until recently in my life. I have always had some paranormal instances going on of a bad kind in one form or another.
Recently I have started actually believing in God due to wanting to be a better person and whatnot, but my Christian friend whom I have been smitten by is feeding me quite a bit of information that makes me quirk an eyebrow in wonder. Naturally I am a skeptical person and always look up information that is given to me, but if I do so for things she has said, she becomes defensive and aggressive.
She has stated that Wiccans practice evil and that there is no good magic, stating to me that all magic is sinful. She has also stated that Wiccans worship Lucifer, which I very well know is NOT true at all, considering a close friend of mine is a Wiccan. She has said to me that in order to be a better person and 'find the light', I must accept Jesus into my heart.
Well I believe in god, but accepting Jesus is something I do not feel that I am ready for yet and if I just 'say' that I have, that would not be truthful and in itself, a sin.
My questions to you as a community are:
1. Can you be multiple religions at once? 2. Can you that are Wiccan, please tell me your own statements about how your practices and religions are not harmful or 'evil', so that I may show them to my friend as proof. 3. Also I ask you to tell me the truth and facts about the supposed 'sacrificing people' rumor that other religions spread around about Pagans, Wiccans, and Gypsies, stating about what a stupid rumor it is. 4. Is it possible to be a Wiccan and still go to heaven? 5. Is it possible to be a Wiccan Christian? 6. Is my eternal soul damned for being in love with the same gender? And in such a pure love that you never lust or think inappropriate of them and feel at peace and overwhelmed with love by just talking to them? 7. Tell me a bit about yourselves and your encounters please? 8. Is it okay to adopt a spirit child if you know you can never have any children of your own due to a health disorder?

MM to everyone this morning, Infamous butterfly, I too am new to this neighborhood but not to the issues that you are asking about, although I wish I were. I will start with the most controversial one: love of same gender. I am a female. I have had three male husbands and now have a female who is my true soulmate. We have both been through the damned for being lesbian (assuming that is what you are talking about). It simply doesn't hold when you lift it up before God or any other diety or spirit. Our case was a clear sign that the Creating Diety of all life brought us together and it has been a blessing each and every day for both of us. The thing I found helpful when dealing with any religious person of any religion is that most are full of dogma and theology not true experience. They "know the party line" but have never prayed or searched their own soul for the will of the god that they worship. The other thing to remember is that pagan religions are the foundation of Christianity. They came out of us and adopted many of our traditions simply putting new names and rituals with them. Nothing more or less. I came from a split upbringing. My grandfather was occultic pagan and my mother was Christian and my father was some sort of mix that changed as he tried to keep my mother happy. :) My partner was brought up Baptist, one of the most viament haters of gays and paganism. The truth is we have a greater level of faith from actually communing with the various levels of spirits, angels, watchers, whatever you want to call them than most typical christians that I have met. You asked if any of us have a blended religion. Well I and my partner do. We went through a time where we threw out everything we had ever known, heard or read and started back at square one. We take what works for us and the spirits that guide us. That which enhances of faith and assurance in what we are doing, saying and working towards. Personally, I hold to no fixed "religion" in the absolute sense of the word. To me religion is man's (woman's) organization of god and the degree to which one organizes that which is superior to them is the degree to which they loose a level of connection to that god. That said I list myself as a spiritualist and I follow very closely the Wiccan, Druid practices as I have found them most pleasing to the spirits that I work with and advantageous to my own being in every way and level. However, I do not reject other practices if they make solid sense both logically and spiritually. We take a bit from many different ways. I should state for the record that my grandfather was what is typically termed dark, left or black in his magic/worship. I have seen it all in my life and I truly mean that. I have seen things that I find repugnant and wrong/evil. Truthfully, they are very quick for your soul to pick up on and warn you about. You simply have to listen and pay attention to the signals that say this isn't for you. That doesn't mean it isn't for them in some cases (although I do think that some things should never be done). There is somethings that I simply will never give up. Formal worship in reverence and respect is something I have not found in any of the churches that I have ever been in. Yet that does not mean that the spirits are not there for I have felt them it means that, for me, worship is a far more significant thing than simply packing into pews and being preached dogma at. Many people don't even remain quiet or attentive during church worship any more. Some even are so disrespectful in some churches to bring food or drink into the sactuary! It's true! My last worry for you is this. You said that your Christian friend got worried when you researched what she had to say. That is a HUGE RED FLAG as far as I am concerned. To me it means that she is not sure of her own faith. She hasn't researched it and is not ready to deal with a genuinely searching and inquiring person. In my experience that is typical of most Christians including clergy. Even with their "schooling" they still squirm at the most basic genuine questions. They seem to have evolved into an equation form of religion. Step one, enter church, step two, get Bible, step three, go to altar and accept Jesus as Saviour (note that they don't seem to know what that truly means because if you mention the term possession in relation to it they will freak!), step four, join church, step five, give them money in tithe, step six, give more money for everything that they see as a do good works thing. Yup, the last part is a bit synical but it is what my experience of over 46 years has taught me. I have NEVER had a single christian speak about a private altar or how they do meditation/prayer, devotions, etc. with any openness. Oh, about the sacrifice thing, I have put 20 years into researching all forms of sacrifice. The myths have gone so far away from the truth of the actual that it is shockingly pathetic. No one seems to take into consideration that the era in which these things were done, and there were some relgions that did do human sacrifice, was also an era without mordern medicine and awareness of what caused diseases. There is archeological evidence that at least some human sacrifices were because of a disease within the person being sacrificed and they did it to prevent it spreading to the entire community. That is just one potential explaination for some of those types of events. The most hideous worthless meaningless sacrifices of life can be attributed directly to the old christian community, just read a bit about the Catholic Churches background and the puritians witch burning and then have her talk to you about sacrifice of human life. Okay, I will end my rampage against modern dogmatic theologies and how they are used to persecute others. Sorry for preaching. May each of you have a marvelously mysterious week! Just discovered a site which is the extreme of what Christian dogma and rhetoric can take people to. It is www.landoverbaptist.org and warning it is purely sadistic in every way, shape and form but it will give everyone a good warning about what their persecution of Wiccans and paranomal people looks like. You might have your Christian friend go to it and then respond. If she agrees with the rhetoric on that site than I recommend you steer as clear of her as you can.
Oh my goodness... That site is so...so horrible! I can't believe anyone would wish to do that to a living person! That's not what people are supposed to think at all!

I am glad you were as shocked as we were to find it. I think this place is out west like in Wyoming or something but I'm not sure really. I didn't linger that long. I thought it was a joke at first, a spoof sort of thing but sadly it isn't. I live in Missouri which is part, I think, of the "Bible belt" and it is changing a lot from what I can tell. There is even a new age/wiccan store here in town. WHOOOAH! :D The owner told me she had to do quite a bit to get a store and she can't join the chamber of commerce or they will shut her down but just to have her here in this area is amazing they tell me. You also asked about adopting a spirit child in your original post. Why not? I don't think it matters if you can't have children, it hasn't for me. Besides with doing that the child picks you even more than you pick them. I also noted that you asked it you could be a Wiccan Christian? The Christians will say no but the Bible says yes. Jesus was very clear that there were two primary rules and they are about love of God and of others. Love is a very difficult emotion and state to truly achieve, IMHO. Because the love that he was referring to is agape love a love without judging or reservation. In other words leave judging up to God, don't judge God or others. In my years of grapling with this I have come to look at the difference between judgement and judging and have found that I can use good judgement about people, places, spirits and practices without judging them. I don't know if that helps and you will eventually have to find your own inner answers for all your questions but it has been most wonderful for me to reponder them due to your post. My family has recently toned down on MUCH argueing and stress now, but we are also making a group effort to clean everything up in the house since the family hasn't cleaned it in a couple years. Were all finally happy and I think its not just from us finally trying to get along, but I think that my girls helped too. They send out such a loving feeling when you hold their dolls.
Thing is lately I haven't seen any activity and I am worried that they might be confused from the cleaning and the talking of yard sales. I tell them all the time that I love them so I hope they know I won't give them away.
I recommend that you find a secure place that you keep your dolls/spirits in that shows how significantly important they are to you. The other thing I am picking up on is that there may be something you are selling that they like. They are not worried about you selling them but they are worried about someone else putting them into the sale and you not catching it. Assuring them as you would anyone else should help with that and even being sure to clarify it with your family if that will not make an issue. In my experience cleaning creates a shifting in the aura and energy which can make it difficult for spirits to stay as connected as normal. You need to spend time each night assuring them that you want to connect to them and remain that way. Once you get the cleaning and shifting around done the child should be able to solidify their connection again on their own if you don't know how to do that personally with them. There is a very inexpensive way to aid them if you wish and you can do it many different ways. The one that I have found most successful is to get two identical items to wear, either a pin/brooch or necklace and do a connection ceremony with both identical items you and the doll with child spirit. Then put one on you and the other on the child that establishes a spiritual to physical bonding and communication medium. Please note that in doing this your child spirit will be better able to locate and even watch over you throughout your day and wherever you go. You may well find them alerting you to people coming up behind you, watching you or even thinking about you. If you are not familiar with this type of communication you may translate the sensations and feelings to that of a warning but do not take it as a threat warning more of an alert. Remember that children are always very aware of their surroundings and CONSTANTLY pulling on a mother's arm, leg or clothing to get their attention to point something out that caught their eye or attention. It depends on the age and experience of your spirit child. Note that some spirit ages are not representative of age as we relate to it, it can be but not always. For instance I lost my twins to a drunk driver that hit our car and they were killed. My daughter is an old and well experienced soul so although she was but five years old when she died her spiritual identity is not that of a child, her twin brother is just the opposite. He is less experienced and vascillates in his spiritual maturity between the age of five and about eight. Depeends on if he is in the mood to learn or just to play. There is another thing that they enjoy a great deal depending on the age and that is to have a comfort object of their own like a small blanket or minature stuffed animal. My son has a small dragon that he is attached to on our shared altar and he moves it around the top often. He has a bit of the imp in him and likes to move many things that he knows will get my attention the quickest. :D I hope that this helps. Well I actually have two beautiful girls that I adopted. Not just one.
One is named Gayle, and she is the oldest of the two. The other is Taylor, and she is the youngest.
The ages given to me by the one whom they previously stayed at was 12 years old and 3 years old.
I didn't know that about moving/cleaning things! I'll have to talk to them then right away. I hope my poor babies are okay!
As for that Pin thing, I may try it if I ever find out how to do the ritual. And as far as special things go, well I do have a baby blanket I cover the dolls in at night, then there is a whole bunch of stuffed animals I gave to them. But I told them before I wouldn't get rid of the dolls that I gave to them. I recently also found an old toy-chest while cleaning and I think that after I'm done with the house, I'm going to give it to them so that they can have their toys in a secure place. I used that toy-chest actually when I was growing up, my mom did when she was little, so did my brother, and my grandmother was the one who got it long ago. I'll paint it their favorite colors and make it look good as new!
Also the cleaning/moving things is being done at a very slow rate and the 'slow-n-steady' pace. Should I keep up the slow or get it done as quickly as possible so that they can ground themselves/connect ?
Gayle and Taylor, beautiful names. You have quite a task given the age differences though. Each will like very different things, not that it can't be done for it has been through the ages but do keep in mind that Gayle can learn far more in different ways and will have a great many different types of questions than Taylor. I will write you privately on the ring ritual as that is a different forum than this one. As for the cleaning, if it is your area that they are primarily kept in than yes, cleaning quicker is better, IMHO. The toy box sounds wonderful although I hand it to you and your family for keeping it through so many children. :) Kids can be rough on things from time to time and most toy boxes don't hold up to the rigors of children, or I should say they didn't in my day and age. :) Anyway, it sounds like a wonderful thing especially for Taylor. Don't be surprised it things are taken out of it by them and not put back. Gayle may be old enough and skilled enough with her energy to do that but probably not Taylor. That type of action requires focused desire and getting it to pick up is not a child's forte. :) As this is the paranormal forum, I will ask if you have a developed psychic ability and what type it is, (some feel, some hear, some see, some have a mixture and than you move to mediums and other more complex communications)? Seems as good a question as any for this forum. I started out as a child seeing and emotionally feeling them. It developed from there so that now I have full ability to connect and commune even to temporary possession if both myself and the spirit agree to it. The ability I had from birth that was the hardest was the ability to know about other people's thoughts as well as those of spirits. That was a lot of information to receive as a child and know what to do with it. Fortunately I had a very spiritual and psychic grandfather who helped me through those early years in life and continues now as a spirit guardian and mentor along with my two children taken from physical form at age 5 when a drunk driver hit the car they were in. I'm glad to have talked to you on msn yesterday my friend. Psychic? No, unfortunately. But as I have stated before, I can 'feel' what others are feeling and know almost immediately if they are distressed, even if they are not in person or on the phone but in text conversations and, naturally, I always try to comfort them.
I have at times heard muffled thoughts of others or whispers though.
Oh, also I wish to speak to you today about a bit of some things that happened yesterday, along with my mother's super hyped paranoia. haha.
