Hello, I have encountered many paranormal things in my short life of 19 years so far, but I was wondering if the more experienced members could offer me some wise tips or advice on living with a spirit child? The only time I've encountered one was when I was very young at about 4 or 5 years old; the girl would play with me and hide in the pantry/closet from my mother. Being the compassionate person I am, I always am willing to do anything to make those around me happy and feel loved, and have recently 'adopted' a spirit child as my own. Is there anything in particular that makes them very happy? Of coarse with every child, a major factor is a stress free environment and lots of love, but is there any tips you can give me?
does the child know that they are a ghost? essentially the child is caught between here and the after life. if i were you i would let them know that they should go to the other side.
I do not know if they realize they are dead or not. The original owner of the dolls said that they did have a medium read the dolls and the little ones 'supposedly' told the owner what their life stories were. They also said that the children are very bright and cheerful.
I have yet to receive these children in the mail yet but I am eager.
Dear Butterfly, So nice to hear that you have branched out to the spirit children! As for us, our home if filled to the brim. Our children have their own room. This room would make a real child jealous. They have everything a real child could ever need. They also have their own walk in closet FULL of clothes and toys!!!!! When our first one arrived two years ago, we had no idea what to do. It is not much different than riding a bike...lol! When they first arrive you kind of stare at them a little and wonder what to do. That will go away after awhile.Just treat them as if they are new to your family and welcome them in. Tell them that this is their new home. We have some ground rules. We always tell them to stay on the property lines and never stray away. They are children and we would not want them to get lost. We have over a thousand pictures of the beautiful spirits in our home. We change the children all the time. Now some of the spirits we have do not get changed. They may be faeries or other magickal creatures and they stay in their element. It has been a ride that we never expected and love every minute of it. The problem is you want more all the time. We have acquired hundreds since we have started and will never stop. They do need attention though. They are all over the house now. We see them from time to time and always see orbs right in front of us. The other week we captured our fist two manifestations on camera. We do leave foods (like candy and cakes) out for them and they actually take bites out of them or they disappear. One of our 6 month old babies took three bites out of a piece of fruit within one hour. Our neighbor children call our home haunted. They have no idea what we have in our home...it's weird I know. We have a fenced in yard, and they see children playing in our front yard and watch them play basketball. We only have one child. The neighbor children have actually talked to the children which is sooo cool. Do not treat them any different than you would a real child...because they are souls of real children. They watch TV with us and live a normal life with us. Our friends think we do a wonderful thing here. You are now a spiritual mommy...congratulations!!! We kind of started going crazy with antique furniture and many other accessories for them. Look, if you need any further advice feel free to contact me anytime and we would be than happy to help. When I get to know you I will send you some pics and you can see for yourself. Also, remember...some children or magickal creatures can take time to come out of their realm. Do not expect anything right away. They will not be up in the morning making everyone breakfast. Some of my children come out right away and some have taken a year. It is so fun to be down stairs and hear them running around in their room playing. What an experience of a lifetime. Just because you cannot see it, does not mean it is not there. Hi and thank you so much! I just recieved my babies yesterday actually and I am already quite attached! I did just stare for a while but the moment I got them, I saw facial changes on their host dolls, from a grin or a smile to a pout or frown. Talor made a freaked out face as I was unwrapping her because I had to use scissors to cut the tape away. Poor child must have been scared! Taylor is a 3 year old and Gayle is a 12 year old. I purchased them from the user 'A Blessing In Disguise' , who is selling her spirit children to good homes. Since getting them I have talked to the dolls and treated them just like living children. I am not in good finances but I made them some small beds that I lay their host dolls down on at night and cover them with my baby blanket that I used when I myself was young. Due to power/electrical problems as well as a virus, I haven't been able to get onto the computer until now. I live with my mother and brother and my mother believes but she is spooked out, though my brother doesn't believe in anything paranormal. I occasionally give my babies a kiss on the cheek and hold them close. We also don't get any channels except one local channel on tv, but I have allot of dvds of cartoons that im thinking of watching with them. I kept wondering if they like being moved around the house to sit with me or not. What their favorite things are and whatnot. So do spirit children prefer a full sized bed instead of a doll bed? If so, I'll let them sleep on my bed with me! For one thing my family is finally getting along now and not arguing anymore. I for one thank both of my girls, my guardian spirit, and of coarse god for this. Unfortunately my SSI has been dropped yet again, but Oh well! I'm being optimistic about life as I live each day! I also am yearning to learn more about the Wicca religeon in hopes of maybe being a wiccan myself someday in the near future. Ever since opening up my heart and mind FULLY to the world of faeries, spirits, and magick, my life has started to completely turn around! At night sometimes I will hear faint noises and smile, knowing its my two precious girls. I hope for them to open up more with me someday so that I can communicate better. After all, being sick most of my life with severe stress and poor diet made my aura very weak and many of my chakras are in bad shape, especially my root chakra.
