Hi everyone I am Jessa, I was so surprized to find a Pearl Jam neighborhood..couldnt find the Nirvana one! urgh! I am a older fan , I am 35, was very hardcore into them, still am, I met my ex husband of 10 years on a Pearl Jam chat room..11 years ago, he moved here from sweden actually..anyone else remember Brad's Pearl Jam chat or Loosegroove? ahh good times.. Anyways My daughter's middle name is Oceans :) And yeah I have seriously been obbessed with Pearl Jam for probabbly a 3rd of my life now.:) It was just really good to see the neighborhood here!
Jessa, You're just over HALF my age! Just think, rock and alternative will live forever. I'm still a big fan of Pearl Jam and Nirvana. I have videos of them in my collection of one camera shooting back in the day. I used to make up my own laminates of press and backstage passes and sneak my camcorder into the shows. Actually got Eddie Vedder to autograph one of the passes for my daughter. The show I taped of Nirvana was at the Great Western Forum in Inglewood, CA just months before we lost Kirk. It was actually my very first time to record a concert. Peace, Gary
Hi there, I never am one to post anything anywhere but I just joined the neighborhood and was surprised to see your post as I feel EXACTLY the same - surprised to find a Pearl Jam neighborhood, and though I haven't looked, based on what you said, am disappointed there isn't a Nirvana neighborhood. I have Kurt Cobain tattooed on my right leg ;) We're not 'older' fans, come on! Am 31, and yes I'd use the word 'obsessed' too, for more than half my life now. Glad to know of a kindred spirit! All the best, Aileen
