We have 2 Chihuahua's, 1 male & 1 female, and 3 gold fish that have lived for about 2 years now! Probably because we feed them regularly and we keep the water filtered. Now I want a Chinchilla.

I have my own little zoo. 5 dogs:Boxer/Pitbull mix; Choc Lab; Mini red long-hair doxie; Standard blk/tan smooth doxie; & a Maltese Mix. 3 cats: Blue-russian mix; long-hair tabby; long-hair calico. 2 Chinchillas: Mosiac & Beige. 2 Red-ear slider turtles. 1 beta fish 1 hamster
They each bring their own uniqueness to the family. I would have a thousand more if I could. Did I mention all are rescues except one Chinchilla, and of course, the fish!
My chins are characters-friendly and lovable. My rescue chin, Hartney Allen, was born with only his right eye. His left eye never formed. He required surgery for an infection where the vet open the socket and irrigated it, but unfortunately, his infection returned and he requires nightly medicine. He's so good, doesn't bite when I clean it and place the ointment even though you know it hurts. Hartney's full of energy too--nothing stops him!
Chinchillas are super pets but you need to educate yourself regarding their care/environment before you adopt them. They require specific needs like chin proofing your room so they don't injure themselves, a cool environment out of sunlight, a strict diet, dust baths twice a week, and most importantly, lots of petting and love. Hello, new to the site. I have 1 male and 1 female mini dachsunds, 1 texas diamondback turtle and 1 very loving husband. We are one happy family. I had a black lab/boxer mix but he is in doggie heaven now. One year ago April 13. But he is still part of my family.

My oldest Dog is seven, my oldest cat is 15, my oldest bird is 6, my oldest rabbit is 4, my oldest frog is 11 All my pets are ages old in years
My daughter and I have what some call a farm. We just call it "HOME" .

I take in small abused or abandoned dogs as rescues---I have two chihuahuas,a pom-yorkie mix, a dachshund and mixed breed...so that's 5 dogs, 2 out door-sometimes 3 cats.....2 ball pythons---one was a rescue...REALLY! This is my calling and I love them all...OK maybe not the snakes....They're my hubby's

Hi Billy, We have 4 cats, all rescues. Tigger-Roo, Marley T. Booters, Mr. Boo-Boo,and Baby Pumpkin. We also have a parrot, Pauley. He is also a rescue. Pauley is the rule of the house! We have 3 female chiuchias very old each mother and both daughters from 2 seperate litters. mother Jasmine rose is now 14 ,tootsie rose is 13,fancy rose.is 13 yrs 6 months 1 austrailian sheperd female named Sadie girl she is now 11 yrs 8 months 2 male cats Sweety Tweety boy is now 12 Jake the joker born on april fools day 2000 lolol is now 8 yrs old 3 female cats whiskkiss lindsey is now 14 Gracie Marie is now 13 Stinker boo cat is now 11 Buddy the mcCaw parrot is now approx 9 yrs old Then there is sky man my bird a cocktail who is approx 7 Besides Jack and stinker tootsie and fancy all of these were found or given to me . Both my birds were found in the wind. I am lucky they found me to give them all great homes. So an addtion is always a great adventure in my home. It may be in yours too.
