Three awesome dogs here too, 4 cats, 6 rats, 3 fish
Soon will be rabbits and chickens. I'm trying my darndest to get goats but I haven't made much head way there yet :-) My husband is trying for the pigs but like I told him...no way and besides, they won't be pets. Bad, but there it is.
I suspect we are nuts around here...either that or born again Dr Doolittle types.
Actually I joined this neighborhood to try and fit my pet goats in somewhere...there is no neighborhood for "farm animals". And I knew that you guys would notice if I tried to pass them off as dogs!! Although that is what they act like!!
And...I belong to 1 more neighborhood, and I will never, in a million years, tell what it is!!! I really don't need to be laughed out of here!! And no, it has nothing to do with my age!!
Hi everyone!! i have 3 dogs, a maltese puppy, a sheltie, and a collie 5 cats, one is a persian 1 cockatiel my daughter has a chinchincilla a saltwater fish tank and koi in the outside garden pond i love animals, we just had to put down our 17 year old maltese
I have recently reduced the pet population around here due to illness. I did parrot and small animal rescue. We've had every kind of bird, guinea pigs, sugar gliders, chinchillas, chameleons, frogs, hamsters, fish...you name it.
Currently: 4 chihuahuas 1 rat terrier 1 cat 1 African grey parrot 1 blue front Amazon parrot 1 beta fish :)
My pets are my best friends. I was recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia and they help make the pain go away.
25 exotic birds from Parakeets to Macaws, 3 Dogs 2 Old English Sheepdogs and a rescue "mutt" she is 1/2 Bloodhound 1/2 Shepard but she is a beauty, 4 Cats and 2 Bunnies
I used to work at a pet store, and at one time had 73 pets from snakes and lizards to small animals,birds,fish and more. I took them all in so that i could be able to find them a new home, they were mostly unwanted pets that customers purchased thinking it was a great idea at the time but did not understand the full responsability that goes along with having some animals. I am so glad I have my furry and feathered "babies" that will have a forever home with me and my family.
I do sell my birds moulted feathers as a way to recycle them instead of sweeping them up into the trash, plus I love to hear about the many ways people are creative in using them!
I have 2 pygmy goats, 1pig saved from euthansia , 4 dogs, 2 Sphynx cats & 8 Cornish Rex Cats ( these are my breeders as I just love to have babies around 3 or 4 times a year!)
Since I'm retired ( LOL!) my day starts at 4:00 am & does'nt end until 11:00 pm just cleaning/mopping floors & feeding etc. I could'nt live any other way !
BTW: I'm in 4 neighborhoods, since Eclipse my pig does'nt have a neighborhood!
My goats kind of came to me by accident..visit my about me page for the whole story. I just love them and have devoted the last 10 years to Buttons, and now, Koko. They are great pets, IMHO!
Yes, I am "retired" also. When I am not doing something involving the animals, I am usually with the grandkids. Busty, busy, busy!!!
I am also in the Dogs neighborhood, as you are, and believe it or not, I belong to Beanie Babies....ok, stop laughing! Beanies are what I mostly buy and sell on ebay. Although, I would like to branch out into other areas, as far as selling...just don't know what yet.

I did go to your page & loved it & felt sad you lost the one. He had a good life as long as you could give it to him.
My goats are 11 years old named Loki & Thor & they mow the weeds when & if we ever get rain so hubby does'nt have to. They are quite funny when they get their extra pellets to watch them do the head butt dance!
I love animal of all kinds except for Rattlesnakes & spiders! LOL!
When hubby goes fishing in NM sometimes (rarelyif I can get one of the adult children to give up a couple days of their busy lives ) I get a chance to go, but I would rather watch the beavers build their dam!
He does fly fishing catch & release so I don't even get to eat the fish!
Hi I have 3 house cats and several barn cats, 4 dogs 5 donkeys, a flock of chickens 3 rabbits, 1 llama named Jake and a pygmy goat named Megan. Megan has her own stall in the barn and is leash broke. she sometimes likes to ride in the front seat of our old farm truck. we get some pretty amazed looks at us while we are going down the road. we have a dairy farm and our cows are like family too. we are not a cruel corperate farm we are a small family farm. there is a difference. we dont stall our cows on cement 24 hours a day they are on our pastures all day except when we milk them. Im new to this neighborhood i also belong to the cat neighborhood. Hope to get to know you all. Sherri
