To me it's their unconditional love.... their undying loyalty.... their unwavering trust in us. Oh, and their wagging tails, their little (or big) wet noses & their willingness to clean the floor for us! :o)
Do you have any pets? Why don't you tell us about them?
All of mine were abandoned and or abused....and I try to give them a great life,as they are so forgiving. I had a poor Chihuahua who had been poisoned and given less than 6 months to live.....Well, three years later, he finally passed. He survived on much medical treatment, tons of love and fruity pebbleles! I had a chihuahua who was being abused by the daugher-in-law of the former elderly owner..She lived only a month, but was treated like a queen!
Your thoughts are so true. Without innocence there would be not unconditional forgiveness, devotion and love. Our pets can teach us so much on how to relate to our fellow neighbours. Jenny
I think the most incredible thing about pets is that they so effortlessly wiggle their way into the family. All of my pets are unquestionably members of the family. They may not clean my room or do the dishes, but they love without question and keep secrets, don't betray, and always forgive. :)
