Can anybody tell me why Charlie always seems to take out a pitcher that is pitching a good game, to put in a releiver that gives up a go ahead home run, or grand slam, just because he thinks the starter cant go further than the 6th inning? Let these young pitchers learn how to get out of a 2nd and 3rd with 1 out situation. Dont just say "Uh-Oh this kid cant get out of this situation, let me put in Alfonseca, or Jose Mesa, they can rescue us from this disaster". Yea right, they are both 65 years old, and have bounced around from team to team their whole carreer, i wonder why? They come in and give up more go ahead runs than any starter that they have, then the starter that they are releiving gets charged with the 2 runs from the runners he left on 2nd and 3rd, and gets the loss. They have to start letting these young pitchers learn how to get themselves out of 6th or 7th inning jams, they arent as tired as you think, they are young guys, and pitch better than 90% of the mediocre bullpen pitchers the phillies have. If you are gonna let all these young pitchers start games, let them get experianced by pitching out of their own jams! All that bullpen does is give up more runs than any starter on the team. Someone needs to knock some sense into ol' Charlie.

Why do they or why did they? If they "do" then they would have 0 Championships. And we all know thats NOT true. Why did they? They need pitching BAD. Curt Shilling should never have been allowed to leave,if he alone stayed ,they would have @ least 2 WS wins.
