Mine would have to be Robert "Rocky" Bleier #20, fullback who played for the Steelers in 1968 and from 1971 to 1980. Rocky was part of the infamous "Steel Curtain" and helped win 4 Super Bowl rings for the Steelers, and is currently the only member of that era not in the Hall Of Fame.
I would have to say James Farrior. He is the hardest working linebacker in the NFL and it all goes unnoticed compared to other's in the NFL. He s a blue collar player.
everyone has there own favorite. could be a legend from the 70's,a fan favorite from the 90's,a role player from superbowl xl or a current star.

Other Steelers that are very good are-Jack Lambert, Mean Joe Greene, Willie Parker, Reshad Menninghal[even though the STUPID Ravens killed him the season], Mewelde Moore, and Jeff Reed [TAKE THAT YOU STUPID RAVENS]!!!!!
They are all great players....and person that plays w/ the Steelers are awesome
i would have to say hines ward hands down as well...no one can step on the field and carry such a positive yet downright mean presence...any guy on defense wants to know exactly where he is at at all times because we all saw what he did to keith rivers from the bengals...case closed
Wolfordjohn, please get off the Ben Roethlisberger kick. He is overated and overpaid. The 2008 Steelers are winning on stellar defense and accurate field-goal kicking. Big Money Bags Ben has turned into another Kordell... Incidently, that running back who the Ravens ``killed'' is Rashard Mendenhall. Don't really know what you called him...
Hines Ward is a very classy player and definitely a leader on the team. BUT Troy is everywhere at once and commands respect on the field. So my vote has to be for Troy Polamalu!!!
I'm a lb guy Have loved them all but i'd say my favorite all - time Steeler would have to be #26 himself Mr. 1st ballot H.O.F. Summer of 2009 himself Rod Woodson. I will be in Canton!
