Problems Buying Expired Polaroid Film

Anyone in this neighborhood should know the end is near for Polaroid-manufactured Polaroid film. As a result, the availablity of some types of film may get really scarce. Some eBayers are digging deep to get their old Polaroid film to market. Unfortunately, I am starting to experience more and more dried-up garbage from some sellers. Because these film packs are sold in sealed boxes, the sellers often do not know the condition of the product. Obviously, anything with a really old expiration date is a crap shoot. I have received useful film that was very outdated. But it is just luck. All I can say is be careful, buy from people you trust, and deal with the reality that the end of this format is near.
