Depends on what they are, but It will be quite a while before the demise of the brand has an impact of the price on the classics. When it does, the impact will be positive. Right now, the death of the division has no more affect on the price of, say, a '68 GTO then an 05 Grand Prix has on that same goat.

What you will see, however, is that there will be a bunch of new Pontiacs on sale this summer as the dealerships have to get rid of them. So maybe you will wind up buying a new one.

By the way, I'm bummed too...

It's save to say, all Pontiac owners are bummed. So much for the rumors of a re-birth of the Trans Am. Not too impressed with the new Camaro either. Mustangs, seems like every 5th home has one. If any new car that's worth owning that compliments its ancestry, is the Dodge Challenger.

Hello again,
That my friend is a no brainier PONTIAC'S R 4 EVER - OLD or OLDER !,the talk was not a roomer but a fact and we are not a dieing breed we are a rare breed.

As for value up or down ,Don't look at it that way, don't be one of the mindless zombies that has to put a price on it, just enjoy them !

I'll have to agree with erictm, the Challenger is the only retro-concept car currently worth a hoot. Still, it's all sad news...
