hey there, thanks for the info. it looks like you must have a stump puller under the hood! a buddy of mine had a blueprinted 421 i thought about putting in the convt. but the straight 8 is so smooth you can't tell its running when you stop for a light, so it's still a bone stock survivor. anyway, hope your having a great holiday weekend, john.
No problem!,Yea it's 455HO out of a 70 firebird-that was t-boned,But I would love to put it in the 70-Orange that I own and maybe get a 428 for my 68. Also I had a friend that has a 428 but he modded it out to a 505,I think. He ran 5.9sec to 6.2 in a quarter miler with 104octane. Don't swamp out the straight 8 its one of a kind and it's rare, I love old cars and More than that it a convertible- Stock Chief- You Rock !
