I'm new to this neighborhood, but I've been selling beach stones for rock polishing on ebay for three years. I literally collect them one-by-one off beaches in the Puget Sound of Washinton state. The rocks are very colorful: yellow, green, red, peach, orange, plum, lavender. Many are mottled, marbled and veined. They are stunning when polished. I'm not a rock expert, but I have a rock polisher, and I have good eye for what will polish.
Those are fairly nice looking......beach agate is so neat to pick thru because one in a hundred might be something very gemmy. Some of the best gem agate in the world(nominated for best of earth reveiw awards !) comes from NEWPORT,OREGON. It is called NEWPORT BLUE BEACH AGATE. Some of it is so nice it will put HART MT AGATE to shame ! I was going thru some the other day and one was a meteorite or something. Some of it(blackbacks) have trace platinum in it. I keep some listed on dragonsayeauctions.com
