I'm a huge fan! Saw Bigger Bang 3 times making it a total of 42 times that I've seen the band in my lifetime! I can't get enough of the greatest rock and roll band in the world:)
I CONSIDER MYSELF A HUGE FAN.. INDEED, THEY ARE MY FAVORITE OF AL TIME. I TOO SAW BIGGER BAND MORE THAN ONCE. HOWEVER, YOU HAVE ME IMPRESSED AND SURPASSED WITH 42!! I AM ENVIOUS AND MAYBE I CAN CATCH UP ONE DAY. PRAY GOD THEY NEVER RETIRE OR DIE! ENJOY!!! DIV-A-BABY
Seen the boys 1989 twice Steel Wheels KY then the Hoosier Dome now RCA, Then Voodoo Lounge starting with Not Fade Away and the front stage was HOT in the fourth row center in Indianapolis on a lottery with minimum price tickets! Would go to all shows if it wasn"t for work hours! Glad they finally came out with dvd Biggest Bang. Jagger is still at his best and as a Saturday Night Live fan.....Don"t Look Back w/P.Tosh with Mick in '78 Great! Joe
I HAVE THE RED TOUNGE TATOO ON MY ARM. I AM 47 YEARS OLD SEEN THE STONES FIRST IN CLEVELAND FOR THE THE SOME GIRLS TOUR 1979. I SEEN THEM EVERY TOUR SINCE; A FEW SHOWS EACH TOUR! THE LAST TIME I SEEN THE STONES WAS IN TORONTO FOR THE SARS SHOW! MICK JAGGER TURNED 60 THAT WEEKEND. AC/DC AND THE GUESS WHO WERE GREAT LIVE ACTS ALONG WITH THE GREATEST ROCK & ROLL BAND STILL IN THE WORLD!!
Hey grammiej55, 42 TIMES! Thats unbelieveable! I thought I was doing good at seeing them 12 times, but you definitely whooped my ass! I dont know about everybody else but I always felt I got my moneys worth at a stones show, even when I had nosebleed seats with partially blocked view (Chicago, Bigger Bang Tour), I've never left a Stones concert dissapointed. And I have seen a lot of concerts by major artists (Eric Clapton comes to mind) that were at best somewhat dissapointing. LONG LIVE THE STONES!
alright-i get it, u have all seen a thousand shows. and that's great. I have chosen not to see them live anymore, because although they play better than ever-they don't have that patina of glamour...not for a long time. I saw the '81 tour for my first time. That was the end, although Steel Wheels was exciting... The Stones are and will be the blueprint for swagger and chops, and for me, '69-74 Stones are just IT. Gorgeous dangerous Keef, the best frontman ever in Mick, and the solid beats from CW-it doesn't get any better...
nayne00, I totally understand your logic, don't agree with it, but I do understand. I would have loved to have seen the boys circa Get Yer Ya Ya's Out era. Must have been somethin' to see. I wonder if anybody here in the Stones neighborhood has ever seen the Stones back then, and currently and what their opinions are.
Micks voice and Keiths guitar gets you in your guts. I was a fan since I saw them on Ed Sullivan Show in 64. First concert MSG July 26th 1972. Micks 29th birthday. Yeah Im a Fan.
Hi Joe I dont remember seeing them on Dean Martin, long time ago. I watched 25x5 and saw clips from those shows. Really like to watch that tape lots of good early Stones. Your record collection sounds great. I would love to have a sealed Exile. I have Santanic Majesties in shrink but not sealed. Well Pleased to meet ya.
stones-outake Thanks for your reply. I do like my 1981 shrink sealed "Still Life" picture LP. Mick's craziness uptown struttin' left to right on the platform stage and jumped into the crowd on "Let Me Go". And look today.....Rockin & Rolling! 3D Satanic....Way!
