For the life of me, I cannot find a copy of Black & Blues by the Stones. I think Muddy Waters performed on this album if my memory serves me right. Any suggestions or direction?
I think the album your thinking of is Black & Blue, not Blues, you should be able to find it here on ebay or amazon. I dont recall Muddy Waters playing on the album, but I could be wrong (I very often am), this is also the first album with Ron Wood as a full fledged member of the Stones, but there are tracks with different guitarists as they were trying out different musicians before getting Ron Wood to join the party. Hey Joe!, any thoughts on this?
Just another thought, I wonder if you might also be thinking of Paint it Blue, this is an album of Stones songs recorded by Blues musicians, hard to find but a good album.
