Hello and welcome, just killing time and decided to go on e-BAY. What the heck check out the RUSH neighborhood as well. However, I wasn't expecting a new discussion. This is a good one though. "Best RUSH album ever?". For me it's HEMISPHERES hands down!! Not only in my opinion is this their best album ever,it also holds value for me. As a female RUSH fan "The Trees" has to be my favorite. Of course the song is about womens rights. (It also has a happy ending the women -maples become equal to the men-oaks). Hemispheres and Circumstances are outstanding!! La Villa Strangiato,words can't explain this!! All I can do is play it,enjoy it and realize just how talented RUSH is!!
Different moods make different albums as my favorite at that time, but i can never go wrong with "Hemispheres." "Caress," "Power Windows" and "Signals" are always topping the list too. Thanks.
Best Rush release ever? Wow, that is so tough to answer for a dedicated fan. Personal message lyrics wise, and as far as my all time favorite song (Entre Nous) I would have to say "Spirit of Radio". But musically, taking into consideration all the elements of the band I'd have to say "Caress of Steel". "I am born, I am me, I am new, I am free. 2112... The birth of the true concept album! Whats my fav? Everyone of them! I,ve been a Rush fan for 35yrs. Seen them live 4 times, and can't wait for the next tour!!
Wow the best album Rush has ever made that is so tough. All of their music is so different from anything else. I would favor their live albums. Rush is the one band I can actually say I enjoy their live albums better than their studio albums. Here is my vote Different Stages live #2 on the lineup is:

This album is so awesome I can and have listened to is hundreds of times. I can't see to get tired of it. In fact I am rocking out to natural science right now.
