Is this group active at all?

Just wondering...I just joined this group because I thought a single parents group on Ebay would be interesting to belong to, and we all might be able to share insights on selling and parenting and such - but all I really see are a lot of advertisements with a few other threads thrown in.

Is there anything else going on here, or is it just dominated by advertisements?

Hi there crackerjacks!

I'd love to talk with you about the things this group was intended for - single parenting and selling on Ebay - not just ads!

I'm a single mom of 3 great kids, ages 21 (girl) , 17 (boy) and 11 (boy). Only the 17 yr old is living with me now. I work 2 jobs outside the home, and have had to recently hold up my Ebay listings until I can get my schedule settled between the 2 jobs...but I plan to be back up and selling again soon.

Hopefully in the next week or so, I will be listing again. I'll need to, as my hours have been cut at both jobs due to the economy.

Hey mom-n-son...I joined for the same reason you did, I am a newly-single mom and thought since I was on here pretty much all day because of my job, that I may meet some people and maybe have conversations pertaining to what we have to deal with on a day-to-day basis. But your's is the last post I've seen and that's about it...but apparently there are a few of us out there that want to use this format for what it is truely meant to be used for, not just to sell something!! Would enjoy hearing from others! thanks

Hi, I joined this neighborhood recently for the same reasons. Apparently, It will be up to the people who have replied to your post to make it a "real" neighborhood for single parents. Of course, I am sure that all of us who wear the title of SINGLE parent realize the time constraints that go with it. Personally, I have not only time issues but health issues, as well, that can limit my time on here. About me: I am Mommy to one ACTIVE 2 1/2 year old little girl, who truly is my miracle! Also, I have a partner in this eBay adventure. She may chime in too. Not sure how to tell us apart, since we have the same id. Maybe someone has a suggestion for that? We are both single mom's who started our friendship through our church. I hope that we can all begin to get acquainted :)

To be honest I was looking around for a neighborhood for mothers or a single parent group and I found this one I was reading all the things people put on here then I came across this group of people actually trying to make the single parent group just that a single parent group. I joined for that reason I am a mother of two (boy) age 7 and (girl) soon to be age 5 I came to ebay to make a little extra cash like I did about 3 years ago then left when I spent all my time here buying more than needed but I think I have the will power this time to not fall into that. And theres more to offer now like this group being a single parent is hard Im sure we all have our own difficulties mostly supporting our families and having people to talk to about it would be great.
