Hi, I should think that with the US dollar being so severely devaluated by our not so illustrious government that skiing in the US would be a tremendous bargain for our friends in Europe. I am an east coast resident, and we have been getting several feet of light fluffy powder already this year, so skiing out here is stellar, if you don't mind skiing only 700 meters of vertical drop. Of course, the best skiing is in Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, etc. , and British Columbia! Younger mountains, just like the Alps, and no language barriers. I've skied Zermat, Sestriere, Gstad, Chamonix, etc, yet still love Jackson Hole, Snowbird/Alta, Whistler/Blackombe.
