What have the Cardinals done this off season about pitching? You can not build a good pitching rotation around hopes - like the hope of Mulder and Carpenter returning to the form they were att before their injries.
If we do not get some pitching issues settled we can expect another dissapointing season in St. Louis.
We signed Matt Clement who could be a great signing if he is healthy. I like Wellemeyer. He might be turning it around. He has an exciting arm. Reyes cant be that bad again. Wainright could be a #1. Cant expect much from Mulder or Carp. Thompson could be a 3 or 4. Soft tosser with control. WHAT WOULD WE OF HAD TO GIVE UP TO GET SANTANA. WOW! WHAT A DEAL THE METS GOT. I WOULD OF GIVEN RYAN, ANDERSON(CATCHER), MATHER, AND A REYES. ANY MINOR LEAGUER EXCEPT FOR RASMUS.
