So we all have our fave book, character and movie, but do the books of Bachman outshine the King. Is The Long Walk a better read than Firestarter.? Desperation or The Regulators.? Blaze v Cell.? Does Pet Sematary creep you out more than Thinner.?
Useful Funny
Hi Chershaun;

I have to think about that one, I just watched Thinner the other night & it was a great movie. I have'nt read Blaze yet & the last bachman book I read was The Regulators. I'm way behind on my reading but at this very moment I can't think of a difference. I might later & do another post.

Hey hello again
You really must read Blaze it is very early King so very raw. Much like the Bachman books in my opinion. King just writing for the hell of it. The days before deadlines and multi million book deals. The lead character is very strange but you won`t forget him in a hurry.
Get reading Weathervane or is it J?
ALL BEST FROM THE U.K.

Hey Chershaun;

My name is Jeanette & my user name is weathervane, just do J because I get tired of typing my name all the time. You might have talked me into reading Blaze soon. I love SK but it seems since the car accident he rambles on & I get bored not like in the old days where you could pick up one of his books & not put it down. Mind you I still buy everything he has. This summer I spent too much on buying his son Joes' stuff just in case he becomes real big. Also bought Owens' book , 1 for reading & 1 signed but I haven't read any yet.

The Long Walk elicited the biggest reaction from me of any book, by any author. I actually blurted out exclamations at the book as I read. And then there's IT, with all the wonder of childhood vividly brought back.

Regardless of pen name or story line, King has the power to hijack my attention and imagination any time he chooses.

One of these days I'm going to drive up to Bangor and stalk the man (for pictures and autographs, of course).

I like them all, always have. It took me reading Desperation, and The Regulators 2 or 3 ,or more times to really understand what was going on. Blaze was good and so was Cell. Pet Semetary was way creepier as far as I'm concerned. Especially Gage with a scalpel!!
