Dark Tower easter egg in "the Mist" movie?

Hello everyone.
For those who have seen the movie "the Mist", check this out. The main character in it is an artist who designs movie posters. I think in one of the scenes early in the movie, when we're in his studio, I see a movie poster w/ a gunslinger on it, he looks eerily close to Roland in the Dark Tower!
Anybody see this? Am I just imagining things or could this forshadow an upcoming Dark Tower movie?
Thoughts?

You are 100% correct in that the painting is of Roland. As far as foreshadowing, the movie rights have already been bought for the sum of $19 by director JJ Abrams (Lost, Alias, etc.).

Past that, everything is up in the air because Abrams is so busy with everything else - at least 6 other projects BEFORE working on the Dark Tower.

It would probably be better to buy the Dark Tower comics to get your fix. They actually exist right now, whereas the Dark Tower movie(s) might, or might not ever exist.

Check out the previous discussion of this in one of the other topics, and check out my guide on the Dark Tower (which mentions the very painting you are talking about, and how the Mist fits into the Dark Tower universe). Interestingly enough, the movie actually fits into the DT universe much more than the story did based on the painting and some of the animals in the Mist which are almost identical to ones found in The Wastelands paintings - check it out!

Yes, I zeroed right in on the poster, at the start of the movie. I knew it was Roland from the Dark Tower stories.
