I just bought an 09 WRX blue. I have to say......I LOVE THIS CAR!!! A friend and I were talking about the best methods for launching it, and he brought up something called the suby 2 step. I've bought an extended warranty for my suby, and don't want to hurt it. Can anyone tell me about this type of launch?? Have you done it, is it safe, what rpm dump should I start at??? Things like that. The more specific you get, the better. How you go about it and all information you think I could use.
Just take it easy if dumping the clutch. That puts a lot of stress on the drivetrain components. Subaru had a bulletin out in '05 about dumping the clutch abuse damaging the axles, at least on the STI.
