for color there are many good choices.....recently new on the market is Alla Prima and fusion...alla prima is hard to work with,but Fusion from what i have seen works wonderful heals bright and goes in smooth,Eternal is a very big name as it also performs great,as well as intenze that is probably a good starting ink for anyone......on th high end side would be classic that is very very good but almost triple the price...buy ink from a reputable source as you won know eally what your getting if you dont...and stay away from wizard ink,skin candy(decent but intenze is better and cheaper)...definetly no scream ink....and sty away from mom's9mom's is a standard but really not as good as before mentioned brands...and cost is the same).....well hope this helped
