I sell over 100 blends of gourmet loose leaf teas through LET'S DOT EA and I have tried about 80 of them. Only one I don't care for so it's hard to answer your question! I LOVE the blooming teas also. We carry several. Check out my catalog when you get a chance! http://www.letsdotea.com/2009LDTcatalog.pdf Blooming teas (we call them Artison teas) on page 12
It's hard to pinpoint a favorite tea. I like fruity teas. Like you I feel that they should look special. I buy most of my teas from Teavana because they look inviting and the taste is amazing. My absolute favorite from there is Plum Harvest Herbal Tea, which has dried fruit and berries in it. Most of the time I just blend different teas (herbal with some oolong, green, or white) and make it happen.
My favorite tea depends on what I'm doing. In the morning I like Yorkshire Red Label, good and strong. Its also good when I need that extra something through out the day. Typhoo is good in the evening, nice and mellow, helps you unwind. I like flavored teas in the afternoon. Right now I'm enjoying Midsummer's Dream, its China black tea and green Sencha with sunflower petals, cactus flowers and flavored with rhubarb. Its very refreshing.
