Would love to hear about other teapot lovers. I own a teashop that has the largest collection of Vintage teapot in northern Ca, and maybe the entire state, with about 800-1000 to chose from, along with some of the best tea you will find. My personal collection is well over 1000
I have a small personal collection of teapots, about 25. I seldom make tea in a teapot, since I am so busy with my own on-line China business (including teapots!) I prefer the more expedient tea-bags. However, when I have company, I do get one of the best teapots out, warm it up, and make tea the proper English way. A major crimp in my "tea style" has been an order from the doctor to cut out caffeine. I can't find a good Caffeine free tea bag, with a strong taste - and I don't want herbal or fruity tea, I want tea! How did you amass your 1000 teapots? Margaret CoplestonTabletopAndHome on eBay
Wow, how do you manage those 1000 pots.....change it to a museum some day :-)
How is the tea business coming up? Do you think the economy has any effect on tea business?
We are tea farmers based out of India. I live in Chicago and distribute my teas all across USA. If you are thinking of buying some tea from the tea farmer, give me a holler
I am looking for a sugar bowl to match a set I have collected for my granddaughter. It is Seir 1 Sterling Japan. It is white with platinum fern leaves. Anyone able to help me find this, I would appreciate it so much. There is a story here and if anyone is interested, I'll share.
