Martina without a doubt. She played with such joy, made a very brave decision to defect and had such a down and scrappy style. I love a player who I can imagine I would like as a person too.
He was the one the fastest players of all time. He was always the underdog and never gave up. He folows the word of the man above and is proud of this. The never say die attitude and never give style of play puts him as one of the best #2's ever. If you saw the 89' French Open match at age 17 when he won it, you would have seen one of the best matches of all time! Servinf underhand againt Ivan Lendl he won in 5 sets cramping and overcame diversity. I was fortunate to have seen this match as my first tennis match ever (TV).
My favorite guy player is Michael Chang. He signed an autograph for me to give my daughter and signed it Jesus Loves You! I thought that was such a testimony to his character. He had a long line of autographs to give but took the time to write that message on every item he signed. My favorite female is Lindsey Davenport. What an awesome, powerful, classy player that is giving it her all to make a comeback after becoming a mother! Way to go Lindsey!
I would have to say Novak Djokovic is my favorite. His all around game is amazing and he's not all buff like alot of other players and yet he can hit the ball with so much power which is cool cause im 5'6 145lbs and i can over power a guy who's 6'1 180lbs.
