I'm really not sure who I like better. Thoughts?
Useful Funny
Normally I would say Toskala, but after that Carolina game, I'm not too sure.

Toskala is a good goaltender, as is Raycroft. Until the Leafs get a mobile defense in front of them, they will both continue to suffer with bad stats.

Hey; If you look at this early season, and most of last, it seems like the Leafs have to score 5 goals to win the game. Sure defense has some lapses, but there is a lot that Raycroft should have had. I think Toskala is our ticket to the playoffs. He was great in San Jose, and once he learns about the shooting patterns in the East....and about that Carolina game. 52 shots? And at least 6 he had no chance on. 3 teams are knocking on Toronto's door for a goalie, and I hope it's Raycroft.

Considering Raycroft tied Belfore's record for most wins in a season last year, even though throughout most of the year the defense infront of him was lacking, I hate to say that I think Toskala is the better goalie.
Regardless of who the better goalie is, I think our two biggest issues revealed so far this year is once again...defense and... taking stupid penalties.
The game the other night against Pitsburg Mats Sundin was playing defense most of the time he was on the ice. Mats is not a defensman!!! But he seems to be the only one who sees where the team is lacking and tries to fill in.

In the first 10 games, I think Toskala is better, however, Raycroft just little more luck.

No doubt it's Toskala now. Raycroft can look great at times, but always seems to let in one bad goal. Toskala is lightning quick. Hope he can stay healthy.
