I have a 7afe stock motor of which I'm going to bore out to 20mm over and i'm polishing crank to put standard main and rod bearings. are there any suggestions on making it a bit faster. stock I'm getting about 115 hp and would like about 150 or more in horse power!
Well you should probably go ahead and upgrade pistons and rods while you have the engine apart. I would do a bit of research on what your engine will take stock (power wise). Couple of quick easy ways to get an extra 150hp would be to add 18 psi to that engine either supercharged or Turbo.
Really if you have time and money you should just swap a 3S-GTE. Their are 3 different generations 2 of which came state side.
