OK, I will go first. My Little Pony has always been more favorite toy overall but I used to have a very beat-up teddy bear named Big Teddy that used to be my mom's that I used to sleep with as a little kid.

When the closet monsters would come, I would hide under him because he was the same size as me! :-)

As a kid it was definitely my Incredible Edibles machine - I loved making and eating all those creepy bugs! Also enjoyed playing with Barbies and Hot Wheels. Come to think of it, I still like playing with toys - guess that's why I sell them!

I loved those little tin tea sets. I would spend hours with my dolls pretending to serve up the tea and cookies.

I also liked those little scooter things where you would hold onto the handle bars and scoot yourselft along on one foot to get momentum; and then put both feet on the scooter and fly down the sidewalk.LOL

the scooter comment made me thing of pogo balls, the things that looked like Saturn but you could jump up and down on. Many hours of fun until my grandpa ran it over with his car. :-(

I had this little robot named 2-XL, it would ask mostly true and false or yes and no questions, it was educational and had different cartridges and it used to tell these real corny jokes but it had the most hysterical laugh it just always made me giggle like crazy! Since it is almost Halloween I am also going to tell you my scariest toy - it was one of those ventriloquist dummies that an Uncle gave me - no matter where I put it its eyes always seemed to follow me, I would be too scared to get out of bed so I would try and throw a blanket over it but it seemed like it would always slip off his wooden head - it gives me the creeps just thinking about it and I have no idea where he ran off to either!!

Wow, I use to love my brothers race cars. Any kind of race cars, manual battery operated or the electric ones. Poor thing, I always took them from him.

Wow, I feel old. ; ) I loved my Silver Mountain Express train and still have it in perfect working order. I get it out every Christmas along with a few other childhood gems. It's like...well, it's like Christmas! LOL

Here's one I found online; mine doesn't have any rust or dents (I'm always amazed; it looks like I'd never really played with it): http://tinyurl.com/2j4sfl

It has a tin body with great litho, delicate features, takes two C cell batteries, and it chugs along the floor making all kinds of noise (chugging, dinging, tooting) and reverses and changes direction randomly when it hits an obstacle. There's a very cool red light in front of the engineer (with a textured lens to look like the boiler; perhaps that's why he's making that face), and the engineer's head wags from side to side as it goes.

For years I thought I was the only one who had one, but Adam Sandler's "What the Hell Happened to Me?" album prominently features one on the cover. : ) (It's the only reason I bought that album. Well, that and "The Chanukah Song".)

See it here: http://tinyurl.com/3x3pvr

Over the years I've had "true" collectors scoff at me for liking, and even still having my SME. But for crying out loud, I like it, so what's the big deal? I know they're not highly collectible, get off my back. ; ) (I've also seen some in other colors with other features - I think it'd be groovy to get one of those: http://tinyurl.com/3ba9uq)

my favorite toys were building sets like erector set, American Bricks, Kenner building sets, Block City (similar to lego today) and Skyline (1960's) and of course American Logs

I actually have a collection of one - of all of them to this day that I found in my travels around the country. They have been on display at various U.S. libraries around the holidays
