What is the most that you have spent on a single Transformer? Which one and how much did you spend..excluding shipping and handleing as i know some people charge a ridiculus amount for shipping charges. Anyways i just recently purchased an Overlord mint in a sealed box and the box is flawless and it cost $600.00. I also just purchased a Diaclone Megatron which costed me $350.00. Next purchase hopefully will be a Fortress Maximus which will probley run me around $1000 with the box and complete. Which cost you the most????
So far my G1 Reflector (complete) for $170 with my G1 Shockwave running a close second. All mine are loose & complete, but with no packaging, as the MIB prices are out of this world!!! So are the prices for empty boxes and insert trays!!!
i havent started to collect the action figures yet, but i have made a goal to collect every Transformers comic book series that was ever made. This project started 1 month ago and i've already spent well over $2,000.00 and i have a ways to go before i have them all....
WELL I GUESS THAT WOULD BE......MY ORIGINAL G1 PRIME AND MY ORIGINAL G1 MEGATRON...PRIME WAS(200.00) AND MEGATRON WAS (350.00).BOTH ARE MIB NOT REISSUES THEN IT WOULD HAVE TO BE......OMEGA SUPREAME AT 95.00 LOOSE AND COMPLETE AND TOTALY FUNCTIONAL.
Bought a G1 sealed Soundwave for $775 recently. Paid way too much though, the pics in the auction were not very representative of the actual item. Oh well.
Like you, I'm on the lookout for a nice Fort Max, but probably won't be making a serious effort to get him till next year.
It was actually on my first ebay account, I bought 2 masterpiece transformers, Optimus Prime and Starscream. Prime was $199 at the time and then the trailer $76 so together it was about $275 and Starscream was pennies compared to that, $150.
I am the proud owner of a complete original Predaking (not the die-cast model; I wish ) with all his parts & accessories: I owned Tantrum (the bull) from my youth, and have purchased every other figure, gun, sword, et cetera piece-by-piece. The grand total must've come to around $700.00.
MIB Microchange Perceptor. Cost me $300 with shipping, and well worth every penny. Next would probably have to be my MIB Japanese Perceptor which ran $225 after shipping, although I think I spent a comparable amount on my Botcon '05 Ratchet and my Macross symbol MIB Jetfire, too.
My Ghost of Starscream Palisades statue was $115... Masterpiece Takara Starscream was around $80 (bought it used on ebay) I try NOT to spend a lot on a whole. But ill spend a lot if its soemthing limited edition or hard to find. :)
I spent about $900.00 for a mint Artfire in box and I spent about 500 for a mint in sealed box Grand Max which I sold 1 week later for 1300.00 but that was about 5 years ago.
