I saw my first one a few weeks ago, maybe a month at the most. It was a drone and not the typical mainstream saucer-shaped ones. It was really shiny and acknowledged my consciousness of it as it vanished a very short time afterwards (or at least I had that impression somehow). I was driving to the post office at about 4pm in the afternoon and just saw it floating maybe 50-100ft above it. It was long, metallic, and very shiny. After viewing it just float there, it vanished very fast to the left.
Almost everyone in this day in age knows at least one person that claims to have seen one, if not themselves. Most are thought to be government craft though. I have two very recent experiences with greys in particular as well (12/25/07 and 2/5/08) hence my user image. But I'll put that in the alien group if there is one ;)
" Yes I was sitting in my garden in England waiting for a predicted meteor shower it was about 11.30pm at night and I saw something odd. It reminded me of a large fat rolling pin in shape, it had a rolling action as it moved forward. A faint glow at the front and at each end lit up the clouds ahead and at each side, it made no noise of any kind.
I dont know how people can judge distance/height and take photographs, I was rooted to the spot in a combination of shock, horror and disbelief as I watched it vanish into the night.
I wish I had never seen it, I still find it difficult to sit in my garden when its getting dark.. I fear my star watching days are now over."
hi thier,what would i do?1 check my shorts to make sure i didn't have amishap , 2 dout my questionable sanity, 3whip out my cellphone and film it for proof of said sanity then post it on either utube.Movies like Taken,or Contact fire the imagination;carl sagen had some good thoughts on the matter which was why S.E.T.I.was founded.check out some of his books for some good opinions.thought i saw something a while back out by the river in daytime metalic apearing to hover and manuver verticaly watched it for a while considering options 1&2 even got a coworker to witness this ,after a while it got low enough that with binoculars i could finaly id it as someone flying a chrome colored kite on jersey side of the river!!I felt releived an anoyed at same time.still you never know anything is possible,I would keep a open mind but don't hold your breath.,P.S.sandyjean don't be frightened can't live life in fear, the stars are beautiful,if they look back who could blame them.
