I'm new to this e-bay but not to vintage clothing.......let us all share are secrets in getting out stains from the variety of fabrics rayon, silk, linen, cotton, nylon, acetate etc. Thanks !
One of my favorites on dingy cottons and pit stains is a cup of ammonia and a scoop of biz in warm water. Soak a few hours and then wash. I've been darn straight amazed with that combination.
Oxyclean is my savior!! 2 scoops in a 3 gallon bucket of wam water soaks out a good 75% of stains in hand washable fabrics. Exceptionally good for pit stains, food stains, yellowing from age and storage and general dingyness.
