I would like to know if those of you listing vintage jeans are listing "real vintage" jeans versus using the word vintage as a keyword or tag. I understand the real thing are uncommon. Would like to hear from the neighborhood about how they handle the issue. Thanks, Deb

I list jeans on another account, When i list them I only use vintage for Old Levis 646 and 684 jeans which are at least 30 years in my description. The word "vintage " really is a nice way of saying used. I also use the 646 and 684 tags for similar cuts of jeans at the end to aid people in searches whne looking for bellbottoms.

Also once people find a listing , they can decide weather to bid on it or buy, nobody forces them to buy the jeans. Example Levis LVC ( Levis Vintage Clothing) is a brand name used by levis to describe jeans recreated from older jeans they have in vaults. Are they vintage? no they are not. They are way overpriced and pale in comparison to the real thing. you look at current listing and you will see them selling for more than "real Vintage Levis." The word vintage is really just nothing more than a marketing tactic.

the first two item numbers are LVC or reproductions,
the 2nd two are "Real Vintage Levis"
