Hello,I own a 2000 golf gl, I went out to vaccum it, Water on floor behind passenger seat,Question,is it the sunroof? Turns out YES! So I had the interior disasembled.from the back sides to drop the headliner,Turns out not so tight hose connection that fits overplastic ball ,Fixed it with metal hose clamp,electrical tape Poured h2o in water track.BUT The plastic piece the ball is attatched to leaks from old sealant cracks.So applied hardening water resistant sealant let cure 24 hours.Soaked up as much h20 as could,proped up rug and mat,Turned a blow dryer.on proped under it,to dry. Next day screwed,poped,snaped every thing back together.It has rained for two days.The carpet is dry as a bone. No More LEAK!!!
