I have been wearing a pedometer for about a year now. It amazes me that I walk that many steps in a day. I park farther away while shopping and I realize I get a parking space faster and am usually walking past people in their cars while they wait for the "close" spots. I think it is funny while I am being health conscious. Any one agree out there?

I try to park farther away from the store for health reasons and also I don't get as many dings on my car.

My daughter was just telling me she read an article that suggested 10k steps a day and she wants me to get a pedometer. I think it's a great idea. I sold quite a few through my Avon business.
