Hi: I registered a domain name under hostmonster and it is paid for 2 years. I moved it to Prostores and then cancelled that store for now. I am not using it now, but if I decide to, how would I access it? Would I have to contact prostores? Is there a way to keep it with Me.
Your best bet would probably be to contact prostores, I am not completly familiar wit those sites, but I do have a little experience with them. However, if you contact prostores, and explain the situiation, they should be able to give you step by step instructions on how to access your domain name.
Thank you, that sounds like good advice. I was hoping, though, that someone would say "your domain stays with you", but what a time I had getting it transferred from host monster to prostores. LOL thanks, again, scion...2lye
If you paid for the domain for 2 years independent of any other service (i.e. Prostores), you can take that domain and do what you would like with it. Just setup some hosting and point the domain to that hosting using the domain control panel at hostmonster. The name servers have to be pointed in the hostmonster control panel to whatever your hosting may be.
Must use Buy It Now and PayPal.
