Does anyone know if the Charm Bracelet and Necklace are being retired? I have looked and can't find anything on it. Just curious because the very few places around here that carry them, had them on clearance to clear out inventory.
This is rumor only, but supposedly the Webkinz charms made from metal and enamel in past had a lead enamel paint/contamination and or metal contamination problem so production was stopped and the stores stopped carrying them after the last of their stock had been sold. The necklaces and bracelets supposedly the same. You can still use the codes that come with them if you find any to buy new in package. I have not heard though of the government stepping in and making Webkinz stop making the charm,so who really know the truth except Webkinz? You can buy cham codes only in the Webkinz e-store on saturdays and sundays only, but a minimum of 5.00 is required for purchase, with 5.00 you can get 3 codes.
