Webkinz auction pulled because of copyright infringement

Hi, I have been selling Webkinz mystery auctions for awhile and had to go through the strict E-Bay wording policy until I finally got it right. However, now I just got a notice that Ganz has flagged my account/auctions and that I am not allowed to sell using the Webkinz name because it is a copyright infringement. I'm not sure if this means mystery auctions only or anything that is Webkinz. The notice that I got looks like it is against Ganz policy to allow the Webkinz name to be used to sell anything Webkinz unless you are an authorized seller and jump through all the hoops that goes with it. I am a casual seller and just trying to clear out the remainder of my inventory. I was planning to sell in regular auction format, but worry that my account will be suspended now that Ganz has flagged it. Has anyone else had this kind of problem? Your replies would be appreciated. Cheers! Sharon

What did the email actually say? Ebay has an entire catergory for webkinz, and as long as someone has an ebay seller account they can sell that item, its not like your selling the name. I never heard of there being a problem with mystery auctions. I do know someone who had there account flagged (unknowingly to them) and was indefinatly suspended for a year. And this is a long time casual seller with over 600 feedback that was 100% positive. Simply for selling trading cards code cards only. (not with the free virtual item or anything) just the codes because they used the other cards. This fell into the copyright problem catergory. Which makes no sense, since you can't bootleg a webkinz They weren't copies of the cards. Even with the VI, you can't make copies. There was no good explanination for that either, and they can't even contact anyone. Ganz must be getting greedy in the need for total plush domination. they must not get how expensive all that stuff adds up to be, and parents are just looking to remiburse some of which, so they can buy more :o Good luck, try to contact ebay through the live help, its as close as you can get to talking to them on the phone since there are no phone numbers posted anywhere on this site I have found. If anyone does have one pass it along so i can give it my friend too.
