Hello fossen123, Your story is fantastic in that it made it first time out of the gate. Please give me some advice on how you got your book published. Who, how, where, when,. I am curious because I am the mother of a duaghter who was abused from a young age by a family friend, and then was sexually molested at 16, 18, and again at 26 (this was the breaking point for her). She managed to survive it,(she has a young daughter herself) and I only learned all of this early this year. I need to put this experience, hers, mine and our family's on paper. When I do, I will need to know from you how I get it published.
Abuse is evil, and damaging. One can survive. My duaghter tried to carry this burden of shame without letting anyone know. She thought we would not care. My heart breaks for my child who is locked in a silent world, thinking she brought this on herself, and has done something wrong, when it is the perpetrator of the abuse who needs to pay for his crime, not the victim. There is no punishment too strong for abusers.

Thank you for your interest in my book. My book was self-published in June of 2008. I had a family friend so the typesetting an then we took it to a local printer who did up the books. The book has gone to 34 different countries since it's publication! I am so amazed!
There is a real need for books by sexual abuse survivors. Although there are several books available, there can never be too many in my opinion. I am a preacher's daughter who was sexually abused by my father for 10 years when I was a child. So my story is unique in that respect. It is gears more for the person who grew up in church and was abused.
