Im am new to E Bay. I have tons to sell but I dont feel like Im doing a good job please take a look at my auctions and send a mesg if you got time to. Let me know things i could do better or maybe my shipping is to high or anything. Thanks ahead for anyone's help. Yes this is also a plug to bring more people to my auctions. Is that wrong? Let me know. Lots more to come!
So I'm an X-men fan and your listing looked fine. Not sure on the lighting for your camera since the coloring appears to be a bit off.
It may be just the item you are selling. I don't know how many people are into collecting the 10 inch action figures. Since I'm not into them, I'm not sure how much they are supposed to cost retail, is your starting bid too high? From selling items, I've noticed a lot of times buyers bid on items that I didn't give a large description on. Mainly they want to know the condition its in and the payment and shipping options. Anyone buying the figures will already have a good idea of who Wolverine is and what his claws can do. People don't like to read... what can I say?
You included extra pics and that's good. You included all the important shipping and return info which is also good.
I think for a seller, the most important thing to know is the bidding will really go up towards the end of the auction so you have to be patient. Sometimes the last hours will be the hottest if the item is a hot item.
Another thing I found that worked was the time and day your listing will end is important to note. You're in WA, and so am I, when you're auction is ending is when other people on the east coast and midwest are already asleep. Try listing your items to end 6-8pm Pacific Time. That way you will get prime time coverage during the most critical periods (the final hours of your listings). People are already home from work and it's not too late that half the country is already asleep.
One last thing. I noticed you used red for your font. The red is a light color and on a white background, may be hard for some to read. If you want to use color, maybe try a darker color such as a dark blue. Where you used the bold red, it looked great bacause the lettering was easier to read.
In the end, whatever the item is, will depend on if the item will sell. These are just a few tips that may help marketing the product. I'm sure other people have their own techniques that work for them. Hope this helps.
