See i recently got a 150Ft. cable leading to my room of my house.. and
i really could use a adapter because i have a router n modem, but i really do not want to spind $100 dollars when i bought the 150Ft cable for simply like $8..

Has anyone bought the adapter, and is it really worth the price?
plus do u kno of any place i might be able to get one at least under $60

Thanks -Jake

I got my adapter for about $75, it's really worth it. I have a bunch of wires hanging out from the back of my tv and i really didn't want to add another wire back there. It's really good, and so far I have not had any problems with it. You can find some pretty cheap ones on ebay, that's where i got mine. I could have gotten it for cheaper but i just wanted it now so paid the pay it now price. I'm sure you could get a better deal.

Good Luck

Another option is Networks powerline network kit. I got one for about 40 bucks on ebay. It works fantastic. You simply plug one unit into an electrical outlet near your primary internet source, then plug your internet source via a ethernet cable into that unit. On the other end plug the second unit into a nearby electrical outlet, the use a second ethernet cable(cables provided) to connect to your 360. The download speeds won't equal what you get on your computer, but are just fine. I have read some reports of the units not working or failing. But mine has been working great since last January.

I'm new on here (this neighborhood) and just thinking about adding a network adapter for my 360 to try xbox live. Why do I see so many used N adapters on here? Are they problematic? Or are people just buying the wrong thing? I have an N network wireless modem on my computer and thought since the computer is in the basement and my 360 isn't I should get the better adapter for range and speed (in case I want to do much more). Thanks for any response! Bill

hello everyone as long as your not buying a wirelees adapter that only has g make sure it has n as with your router having n or n + the g adapters lag a bit as to online games as due to the g speed compared to the n speed and range
