I recently purchased a Zune from woot for 99. I already own an 5G video Ipod, but I wanted to test drive a Zune. I buy a second one for a friend that is Ipod-less.
i am going to get a zune when it comes out next month.I am hoping that they redo the case on the Zune 30 that's the one i am getting.I am waiting till they post new pics of the 30 before i buy it.It's killing me waiting.
No revision to the Zune 30 will be made. Hardware will be exactly the same ( i actually like its casing the best ). The Firmware and Zune Software update will be included with the zune 30 as well, there's no point in waiting for the Zune 30.
I recently bought the zune 30 on woot also and love it it even came with great videos stock. So when woot put the browns @ $79 I bought 3 more for my xmas gifts!!!!
I got the black 30g ZUNE on woot.com for $99, I love it. I have been watching movies and videos i have downloaded to my zune on my TV using the av dock, it worls real well. Check out the new zune ad on the zunejourney.net site or just visit zune's website, it has a cool 60's style video trip you take and be sure to wear your headphones or crank up the speakers so you can hear the zune song that plays with it. It's called "LAKE MICHIGAN" by the band ROGUE WAVE. great flower power song. ROCK ON ZUNE!!!!!

Zune to Zune sharing is a joke unless you turn the zune into a USB drive. Squirting is a piss-poor feature.
One of the things that is making me wary about buying a Zune is that every Zune bought gives the RIAA a cut of the profit in royalties. Who knows why the f**k MS decided to do that.
the zune is alsome i just resently got a 4gb zune (black) I have had no problums out of it so far I got about 210 songs on it and about 40 pics and i only keep 3 podcasts on it at a time but my zune is great and i would tell anyone to buy a zune instead of an ipod because there is more features
I love my Zunes. Yes, i have two. I got a 30 gig last year for Christmas and loved everything about it except its size, and the fact that it doesn't tell the time. For some reason that really bothered me. It's a really great product. Just don't overcharge or you'll wear down your battery which is why I just bought an 8 gig yesterday and so far so good.
I highly recommend the Zune over the iPod for one big reason. iTunes. No offense to apple, but iTunes isn't all that great. The Zune marketplace has a very limited selection, but it's not in the crazy format that apple uses that makes it incompatible with anything else. the Zune program is much more gornaized and easier to use that iTunes (I have a Shuffle as well).
I have a black 4G that is absolutely amazing. Enough music and battery to get me though work. :) Little trouble downloading the Zune software through the Zune website, so I just downloaded it through Microsoft's website. Haven't had a problem since.
I am having lots of trouble with my Zune. It could be Windows Vista, which is the biggest piece of crap ever. My Zune stopped working after 8 months. Before it stopped working, whe I would try to load songs onto it, the songs would skip or sometimes cut off. I think this has to do with my new computer which has Vista. All I know is that everything Microsoft that I have purchased in the last 6 months has been unreliable, non-user friendly, and just a big pile of crap. I am considering switching everything to Apple.
I purchased a Zune directly from the store 6 months a go and I was having problems with it. I would be listening to music and it kept freezing! It was soo annoying! I have a warranty on it but I can't find the receipt. So now I can't get it serviced. Also the software drives me nutty it automatically save the wrong album covers on the wrong songs. All my songs had a title and artist listed but yet in the Zune, it would show as unknown artist and unknown song. With that many unknowns it was hard knowing what song to pick!! Since you didn’t know what it was! I wouldn’t waste my money on that crap again!! Waste of my time good thing I sold it to a chump at work!!
I have owned the iPod and now the Zune. The Zune is great. Every thing the iPod is and MORE!! With the FM tuner and wireless sync. It is a much better mp3 player. I would recommend the Zune if you are looking to spend over $100. I am very happy with mine and I only got the 8GB. It's perfect.
